Windsor HCV Waitlist Opening for Pre-Applications June 6-8, 2016

Public Notice Town of Windsor Housing Authority Announces the opening of the 
Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list  

The Town of Windsor Housing Authority will be accepting applications for the section 8 Housing Choice Voucher waiting list.   HCV is a federally-funded program which offers rent subsidies in the Town of Windsor.  All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.  Applicants must meet all U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development income and eligibility guideline

Interested applicants can apply online: www.windsorha.org/forms between June 6 at 8:00 am. And June 8, 2016 11:59 pm.  

You may also use the pre-application, from www.cthcvp.org , www.windsorha.org/forms or the Hartford Courant (June 4, 2016). Mail to: The Housing Authority of the Town Windsor, Po Box 1002, Windsor, CT 06095

*Only one pre-application per family will be accepted.  Duplicate pre-application will be disqualified *The pre application must be completed with all information and must be written in a legible fashion.        
 Any pre-application that is not legible will be disqualified  *Only pre-applications postmarked between June 6, 2016 and June 8, 2016 will be accepted  (The Housing Authority of the Town of Windsor Po Box 1002 Windsor, CT 06095)

The Town of Windsor Housing Authority will use a Random-Draw Lottery system to determine the order of each pre-application on the waiting list, Five hundred (500) Pre-applications for the Section 8 Program will be placed on the waiting list in chronological order as determined by lottery.  Only those selected will be notified via mail by July 8, 2016.

NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO DROP OFF OR FACSIMILE (FAX) TRANSMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED
